MidAtlantic Photo Booths is proud to announce the addition of a new team member. Our newest addition represents our 4th photo booth to our group. Ashley Sharrock of Party-Up Entertainment has joined our team. Ashley owns and operates an Atlanta Photo Booth Party Box Photo Booth. Her equipment is state of the art with touchscreen, professional DNP printer and fully customizable presentations. Ashley’s equipment is in full unison with the other Atlanta Photo Booths in the MidAtlantic Photo Booths family. All of our photo booths blend in very well in any environment, both indoor and outdoor.
The addition of Ashley will allow our photo booths to conduct simultaneous operations in North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. The current capacity of events during any given weekend moves up to 12. With no shortage of assignments, Ashley will have a huge opportunity to play a key role in our brand.
Ashley comes to us with a special skill set of working with Green Screen. Green Screen adds a new dynamic to our available services. Ashley has already started to conduct operations under the MidAtlantic Photo Booths brand. Recently, Ashley was assigned provide photo booth services at Kirk Middle School in Newark, DE. Ashley did an amazing job as shown by the compliments from the client. The photos speak for themselves. The kids had a great deal of fun and the photo booth was the highlight of the event.
On Saturday Sept 28th, 2013, MidAtlantic Photo Booths had the pleasure of providing a branded photo booth for the participants of the City to Shore Bicycle Race in Ocean City, New Jersey. We were hired by the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Chapter. Our coordinator was Caitlin Smith. Caitlin did an amazing job organizing our participation in the event.
It was amazing to see the dedication of the riders that crossed the finish line. Most riders were surprised to see the clean and upscale look of the photo booth. The touchscreen was enabled and a client supplied backdrop was in each image. The rental period was 6 1/2 hours and the booth did most of the work. Our booth photographed over 170 sessions with over 700 separate images taken.
MS provided us with the branding images and the theme for the spread. We presented 4 photos with 1 being a large image. We used clean white with a yellow border. Branding is very important to our corporate clients and we include a custom branded full-sized layout for all of our corporate clients. The backdrop was branded by Teva, a significant sponsor and supporter of the race. The images were posted onSmugMugand available for purchase.
Once the images were live online, we received some requests from participants in the race. The common request was can we make the individual images in the layout available. We archive each layout and each individual image in the layout for 1 full year. We were able to sell individual images and delivered the photo booth image to the participants via email attachment.
Our Delaware photo booth was assigned to this event. Our lead on the team was Renee with support from Glo and Jordan. It was a long day but was a successful day. Thank You to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Chapter for allowing us to be a part of this amazing event.

Quinceanera’s recognize that a young woman is transitioning from childhood to the age of maturity. What better reason for a party? MidAtlantic Photo Booths just provided the photo booth rental for Gabriellla’s party. The venue was the Hotel at Arundel Preserve, Hanover, Maryland. The hotel is a full service, filled with luxury and feels very chic.This photo booth rental was part of our growing Washington DC / Baltimore market.
At 7pm, the festivties started and the photo booth was in full use. The guests ranged in varying ages but most were between 13 and 18 years. Old. Gabriella was the center of attention and had a wonderful time at the photo booth. Her guests seemed to have a blast at the booth also. We produced over 120 photo strips with a custom birthday balloon theme. Our photo booth scrapbook is included with our service. The scrapbook was work of art on this one.
We owe a special thanks to Sulma (mother) for hiring us. Sulma could have hired any photo booth company in Maryland, but she choose MidAtlantic Photo Booths and we appreciate it.
Lafontaine Bleue was the site of our most recent photo booth rental. This venue is a location that we have worked at previously in our wedding photography company, Donald Pope Photography. This is part of the Washington DC / Baltimore market. The venue is built for weddings in it’s design and decor. It has multiple rooms for wedding receptions, parties and a dedicated chapel. The wedding chapel is intimate yet colorful. The set-up and colors are stunning. While we were not the wedding photographers for the event, the chapel is a wedding photographers dream and perfect for a photo booth rental.
Our bride was Karen & Qusim. They wedding started on time and the guests immediately started to party at the photo booth. The booth ran steady for a full 4 hour rental period. We served over 200 guests in 70 photo sessions. The client opted for the classic 2 x 6 inch photo booth strip with borders to match the wedding colors. Every guest received a photo strip and an additional photo strip was placed in the scrapbook to be presented to the bride and groom. This was yet another successful wedding photo booth rental. North Carolina was good to MidAtlantic Photo Booths. We launched our Raleigh / Durham area operations with a wedding reception at the Palladium Event Center in Burlington, NC. The staff was friendly and it went off perfectly. We had our equipment set-up, tested and operating in about 20 minutes. Other photo booth events were scheduled for the Raleigh / Durham area of North Carolina during the weekend that also went perfectly.
Photo Booth Rentals tend to make clients appear really photogenic. With that said, some clients and guests are work very well in front of the photo booth camera. We got lucky on this one. We had a bride, groom and bridal party that photographed well in the booth. They were not afraid to have a good time. Kristin…you looked marvelous !!! Take a look at the pictures from this reception.

Buttonwood Beach RV Resort is located in Earleville, Maryland, just outside of Middletown, Delaware. The photo booth rental was to celebrate the resort’s 40th Anniversary. The resort is very quiet and has both short and long term guests on the property. The guests were from all walks of life and were a pleasure to work with. We were able to put the logo for the event in the photo strip for a customized look. We would like to thank Samantha Branham for selecting our photo booth rental service for this wonderful event. We look forward to the opportunity to return next year.
On August 9, 2013, we were the photo booth vendor for the 2013 Otakon Convention in Baltimore, MD. MidAtlantic Photo Booths provided 2 photo booth rentals at the corner of Pratt St & Light St, in Baltimore. Otakon celebrates the Japanese Anime cartoon Both booths operating to wonderful crowd of attendees for 2 full hours.
Guests were dressed as characters such as Speed Racer, Takuto Tsunashi, and Jasime You. The amount of time and effort that the guests took to create costumes really showed in the Photo Booth pictures. These was the true definitions of being a fan.
MidAtlantic Photo Booths continue to provide booths for corporate events, weddings, quinceaneras, bar mitzvahs and most other events. Our newest market is Raleigh Durham, North Carolina and we are excited about upcoming opportunities to serve that area.
Photo Booth Scrapbooks are an important part of a rental experience. When renting a photo booth, the client should always consider having the scrapbook added to the package. All of our locations including Delaware, Maryland and Raleigh / Durham use the same high quality scrapbooks. Some vendors will charge extra for the scrapbook. MidAtlantic Photo Booths affordable pricing includes the scrapbook as part of the base price.
The client should expect the photo booth to produce prints that are from a subdye printer and instantly dry. This is the best type of print for the book. Everything about the book should be acid free. Acid free will insure that the images are not damaged from the glue process and that the pages are not damaged by the same process.
We use large 12 inch x 12 inch books. The larger books allow guests to sign comfortably without having to write too small. Some guests will insist upon writing unreasonably large. This is no problem with a big book. The colorful use of pens and templates help to complete the book. The joy comes at the end of the event when the host, bride or groom is presented with a fully completed scrapbook with copies of all the images and interesting notes by the guests.

This weeks bride and groom are named Chanda and Riley. Donald Pope Photography (www.donaldpopephotography.com) along with our photo booth company, MidAtlantic Photo Booths provided photography, videography and photo booth for the wedding.
The wedding was held at National Museum of the Marine Corps Chapel. While it was a very hot day, we were able to capture good photography and videography. Our photo booth team was setting up at the reception simultaneously at the Clubs at Quantico. Once we all arrived at the reception hall, the photo booth was already entertaining the guests. We operated the photo booth for a full 4 hours and the guests loved it.
